2025 is Year of the Snake!

LUNAR NEW YEAR 2025 celebrates the 11th Annual Lunar New Year with the Port of Los Angeles' annual festival, featuring live entertainment, dancers, crafts and more at Cabrillo Way Marina in San Pedro. 

Previous Celebrations

• LUNAR NEW YEAR 2024, the tenth annual Lunar New Year Festival, year of the  Dragon was held at the newly opened Wilmington Waterfront Promenade. It included  colorful decorations, foods, petting zoo, arts and crafts, the wishing wall, live entertainment and  fireworks grand finale. 
• LUNAR NEW YEAR 2023 Year of the Rabbit was located at the Port of LA's Cabrillo Way Marina venue on the LA Waterfront.
• LUNAR NEW YEAR 2021 & 20223  virtual celebrations  due to the pandemic
• LUNAR NEW YEAR 2020 6th Annual Lunar New Year Festival at Cabrillo Way Marina
• LUNAR NEW YEAR 2019 canceled
• LUNAR NEW YEAR 2018  year of the dog, featured Red Carpet Ready Dog Adoptions.
• LUNAR NEW YEAR 2017 featured a petting zoo, traditional dancers, Taiko drummers, face painting, arts and crafts, calligraphy and brush artistry, and a firecracker finale!
• LUNAR NEW YEAR 2016 included artistic performances representing China, Japan, and Korea - the Port's top three trading partners. Festival-goers also enjoyed food trucks, arts and crafts, and face painting with a fantastic fireworks show to top off the night.

LOS ANGELES - Golden Dragon Parade & Festival. Parade starts at 1 p.m. on Sat. Parade route: Hill Street at Temple toward Bernard. Right on Bernard, right on Broadway back to Broadway & Temple, Los Angeles, CA. Festival 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. lachinesechamber.org
