This volunteer-led event aims to unite the community and celebrate cultural experiences. It is organized by local non-profit organizations of the Vietnamese community: the Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce (NVCC), the Vietnamese American Community of Sacramento (VACOS), and the Community Partners Advocate of Little Saigon Sacramento).

The annual Chinese New Year Culture Association celebration brings the community together for a day of entertainment, vendors, a food bazaar and children's games. The public can enjoy many activities for free but mainstage entertainment with singing, dancing and theatrical performances requires a ticket. There are two stage shows and a separate ticket is required for each performance so adults can see one show for $10 or $15 for both.
