The annual party in the park, Fountain Valley Summer Fest, is held in the city's biggest park, Mile Square. 

2024 Bands: Kenny Metcalf as Elton and The Early Years Band, Chicago Tribute Experience, Take On Taylor - A Salute to Taylor Swift, Ultimate Carrie: The Carrie Underwood Tribute, Queen Nation, Thank U Drive Thru, K-Tel All Stars, Buffett Beach, Redneck Rodeo, Tijuana Dogs + Fountain Valley Community Foundation Stage featuring local community groups and performing artists.

Food for sale, vendors for shopping fun and a big carnival with lots of rides like Bear Affair, Crystal Lil's Glass House, Ferris Wheel, Flying Dragon,  Funnel Force, Happy Pond, Jungle of Fun, Kamikaze,  Looney Airport, Merry-Go-Round, Oh Chute, Orient Express, Scooters Bumper Cars, Sea Rey, Star Flyer Tower, Super Slide, Thunderbolt, Tilt-A-Whirl, Twister, and Xtreme - Star Dancer
