The longest running ukulele festival on the mainland was founded over 20 years ago by known musicians Uncle Hollis Baker and Uncle John Ogao from San Francisco Bay Area's Polynesian Community. The first Festival in March 1994 was comprised of several family members, friends & ukulele students.
