Hobey Ford's ANIMALIA explores the magical world of animals and features Hobey's
original foamies, puppets carved from large blocks of foam with intricate mechanical design that give each puppet realistic movements. Hobey breaks out of the traditional puppet theater booth turning the whole theater into his performance stage. ANIMALIA
introduces the audience to the metamorphosis of a butterfly and a tadpole,
various ecological systems and endangered animals.

SYNOPSIS: A young nun who claims she gave a virgin birth is accused of
murdering her child. A psychiatrist assigned to the case faces off with the
Mother Superior. All 3 women explore questions of faith, memory, and the meaning
of sainthood.

Comedian and storyteller Gabe Mollica begins with a declaration: "I turned 30 and it occurred to me that I don't have any friends." Over the next 60 minutes, Gabe attempts to explain why, analyzing the "30-year old bros” in his life, high-school relationships, his first drunken attempt at stand-up, summers at a camp for children with chronic illnesses, and many more stories of young love, friendship, heartbreak, and Taco Bell. FULLERTON: Misery, play, January 20-February 26, 2023 at Maverick Theater. Stage adaptation of Willam Goldman's screenplay of Stephen King's thrilling novel follows successful romance novelist Paul Sheldon, who is rescued from a car crash by his 'number one fan,' Annie Wilkes, and wakes up captive in her secluded home.
