Highland Springs Resort celebrates the beginning of lavender harvest season by hosting its Annual Lavender Festival. Offering family-friendly events and activities, visitors are invited to stroll through the winding paths of organic lavender fields, participate in guided tours in horse-drawn hay wagons, learn how lavender essential oil is extracted, taste lavender-inspired dishes and enjoy live music. Highland Springs Resort is a 2400-acre historic landmark located in the Southern California region known as the San Gorgonio Pass. Originally a stagecoach stop along the Bradshaw Trail in the mid-1800s, Highland Springs eventually became a popular health resort in 1927 under the ownership of Fred and William Hirsch. The emphasis on health continues today, centering around the onsite 123 Farm. Highland Springs Resort offers a healthy respite from a busy life with family-friendly activities throughout the year. It is also home to the acclaimed restaurant, The Grand Oak Steakhouse & Bar.

Spend the day with a friend at the farm and shop in the barn for great lavender gifts like scented drawer liners. Lavender herbal soaps fill the soap shop with the scent of the south of France. Fill your garden and containers with many types of lavender during our one day plant sale. Picnic while listening to live music in our spacious coffee bar or grass area. Lunches will be available for purchase at the coffee bar. Remember to wear lavender!

Held at the farm for this fun annual event that celebrates the beginning of the lavender harvest when the fields are starting to bloom. Come out for a relaxing day in the country and join in the activities. There will be live music, wine tasting with award winning Capay Valley Vineyards, educational field tours, fun crafts, lavender ice cream, free lavender lemonade, and much more. Stroll through the purple fields and pick your own lavender, then relax in the shade, taste some wine, and enjoy the music. Good food, featuring gourmet pizza and lavender ice cream will be available for lunch and, of course, there will be farm made lavender products and lavender plants for sale.
