Tours fill quickly. Self-guided tours are also available to view the cranes and other wetland birds.

The highlight to Sandhill Crane Festival is undoubtedly watching these graceful, large birds. The tours charge fees, but the other events happening at Hutchins Street Square Event and Conference Center (hutchinsstreetsquare.com), including the Reception, Art Show, workshops, presentations, and Exhibit Hall, are free.

Crane Fly-in, Raptors by Boat, Birding Hot Spots and dozens of tours are offered, or you can simply go watch the sandhill cranes on your own!

If you are unable to attend the festival, California Department of Fish and Wildlife offers public crane viewing tours at Woodbridge Ecological Reserve, also known as Isenberg Sandhill Crane Reserve, the first 3 weekends of each month from October through February. There are NO tours during Lodi Sandhill Crane Festival. CDFW Sandhill Crane Wetland Tours at Woodbridge Ecological Reserve are timed to begin in the late afternoon when the crane fly-in for the evening roost can be observed.

Other Lodi Events include the Lodi Grape Festival.
