"Did you know the tradition of celebrating Cinco de Mayo started with Latinos in California? Join us as we bring to life this celebration in Los Angeles through costumes, dance, and music of California from 1848-1865.

Enjoy this FREE family day with live music, dance, and art workshops at the beautiful LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes.
¿Sabías que la tradición de celebrar el Cinco de Mayo comenzó con los latinos en California? Acompaña nos para darle vida a esta celebración en Los Ángeles a través del vestuario, la danza y la música de California de 1848 a 1865.
Disfrute de nuestro teatro "Cinco de Mayo: an American Tradition" del Dr. David Hayes-Bautista, en colaboración con Ballet Folklorico Flor de Mayo y Conjunto Tenocelomeh.
