The annual Los Olivos Quick Draw features 19 artists, live music and bidding for the artwork. The festival committee invites art lovers to experience a rare opportunity to observe talented artists as they work to complete original pieces in 60-minutes. Following the Quick Draw, visitors have 30-minutes to view the finished work and talk with the artists before everything goes home to the highest bidder during a live auction conducted by Jim Glines. All work has a $250 minimum bid. All sales are final and payment-in-full is due at the close of the auction.

Santa Ynez Valley Arts invites you to spend the weekend immersed in quality artistic expression and live music during the Annual Quick Draw & Arts Festival. Come early and meet the artists at the kick-off reception Friday in Mattei's private garden. Then, Saturday, spend the day at the Arts Festival! Held once again at the historic Mattei's Tavern, conveniently located just off Hwy 154 at 2350 Railway Avenue in Los Olivos, CA. This free event features a rare opportunity to step into the virtual studios of 23 renowned artists as they complete an original work of art within 60 minutes.

Each artist presents a unique style; from how they lay out their tools, to the medium they work, to the subjects they choose. All of the featured artists have studied for years and have had their work shown at prestigious galleries, museums, private collections, and won countless awards. This mastery of their medium is what allows them to create beautiful artwork in such a short period of time.

Afterward, you will have the chance to take home the work of your favorite, featured artist as the highest bidder in a spirited live auction. Additional works from the Quick Draw artists will be for sale in the Featured Artists' exhibition.

Visitors will be able to enjoy the beautiful shaded grounds and historic ambiance of Mattei's Tavern as they experience the fast-paced Quick Draw, spend time browsing the juried Artwalk showcasing fine art and unique handcrafted work, participate in the silent auction, learn about different arts organizations in the Valley, and enjoy live music while picnicking on sandwiches and snack boxes available from Mattei's Chef/Partner Robbie Wilson and his team.

Continue celebrating into the evening as Malibu Family Wines, located 1 block away, extends their hours for an After pARTy from 5-7pm! Enjoy special hospitality, music, food, and wine specials!
