READY, SET, GO! Gather your family and friends and get your little pumpkins to the Annual World Famous Pumpkin Race Festival. Enjoy the spectacle of the Manhattan Beach Pier area transformed into Pumpkinrace Land, where creativity runs wild and cheaters never prosper. Dress in colorful costumes, enjoy fun activities for all ages, make your own Pumpkin Racecar and feel the thrill of competing in the fun-spirited World Famous Pumpkin Race. Free and fun for the whole family thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and volunteers.

WHAT'S THE WORLD FAMOUS PUMPKIN RACE? - Handcrafted Pumpkin Racecars racing side-by-side in unpredictable and dramatic style! Families and friends race for fun and the coveted Championship Trophy. NEED A PUMPKIN RACECAR? World Famous Pumpkin Racecar Kits will be available for purchase at the festival while supplies last! Pumpkin Racecar Kits are fun and easy to assemble and contain everything you needed to build a Pumpkin Racecar, including a medium-sized pumpkin. Free expert assistance, decorations, and accessories are available at the event for those purchasing official kits. You may also may make you own Pumpkin Racecar according to the Official Rules of the World Famous Pumpkin Race.

RULE #1 Craft your Pumpkin RaceCar using a single pumpkin.
RULE #2 Insert two independent axels through your pumpkin and attach wheels to the axels. Spice up your racer with style.
RULE #3 You may not attach your pumpkin onto a pre-fabricated chassis of any kind (skateboard, stroller, Tonka truck, etc., etc...) A.K.A. The "Anti-Stealth" Rule.
