Sunrise Ceremony 5:40 am: Greet the day atop Mt. Tamalpais. Arrive by
5:15 am at peak parking lot, 45 mins. from 101 Stinson Beach exit. Climb
to top is 15-20 mins. Bring $8 cash to park and a flashlight.
Main Event 11 am: Gather at Santos Meadow, Muir Woods Rd. All ages and
abilities, children to adults, are invited to this community ritual.
“When enough people move together in a common pulse with a common
purpose, an amazing force takes over—a power that can renew, inspire,
teach, create and heal,” states Anna Halprin.
Basic Info: The event happens rain or shine. Kids are especially
welcome, but please no dogs. Dress in black or white; layered clothing
is best. Bring your own food, beverages, blankets or something to sit
on, for a picnic afterward. Please practice 'Leave no Trace'. The event
is free, but donations are encouraged to cover costs.
Directions to Meadow: Stinson Beach exit from Hwy 101 to 1. Left at Tam
Junction to 1 North. Road forks at park entrance; take lower road toward
Stinson Beach. Right on Frank Valley Rd (formerly known as Muir Woods
Rd)., past Pelican Inn. Look for colorful flags ½ mile on left.
Carpooling is recommended, to offer or request a ride please see the

Due to changes in the Muir Woods National Monument parking, parking
passes will be required for all vehicles parking in Santos Meadow. No
parking to access Muir Woods will be permitted from the Planetary Dance
site, if you wish to visit Muir Woods please visit GoMuirWoods.com to
make arrangements.

MARIN COUNTY - MT. TAMALPAIS: Planetary Dance. Join Anna Halprin and the
Planetary Dance Association for the Annual Planetary Dance for peace
among people on Earth. Sunrise Ceremony atop Mt. Tamalpais arrive by 5:20
a.m. at the peak's parking lot, 45 minutes from Hwy 101 Stinson Beach exit.
Climb to the peak takes another 15-20 minutes. Bring cash for parking fee
and a flashlight. Main Event: Gather at 11 a.m. at Santos Meadow in Mt.
Tamalpais State Park. People of all ages and abilities, from children to
adults, are invited. Guest Artists: Anna Halprin, Billy Cauley, Jahan
Khalighi, James Nixon, and others. The Planetary Dance is free, but
donations are appreciated to cover costs. Potluck Celebration: Please bring
healthy food (preferably organic and GMO-free) to share with others and
utensils. The food should be ready to serve (fruit washed, cheese and bread
sliced, etc.). Directions to Santos Meadow: Take Stinson Beach exit off Hwy
101. Follow signs to Hwy 1. Turn left at Tam Junction and follow Hwy 1
north. At road fork at park entrance, take lower (left) road toward Stinson
