A BBQ event to help the homeless succeed has become a success during its several years of existence so you know there's an added benefit when you attend and participate by either simply sample the BBQ and brew, or by entering one of the competitions.

The inaugural BBQ began in the parking lot of Westminster Mall but its success grew by leaps and bounds when it moved to the nearby beaches of Orange County.

Kid's Que Competition Saturday, August 6th 2pm to 4pm, ages of 6-15. $25 entry fee
Kids will be provided with a grill and meat to cook either a hamburger or steak.
The kids need to provide any buns, garnish and seasonings they choose.
There are two age categories:
Ages 6-10 cook hamburgers
Ages 11-15 cook a steak
KID'S QUE BBQ SCHEDULE:
1:30 – Registration
2:00 – Cook's Meeting
2:15 – Light grills and begin cooking
3:15 – Turn in for ages 11-15
3:30 – Turn in for ages 6-10
4:00 – Judging
5:30 – Awards
Entry Fee is $25.00 per child entering competition.
