Held at the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument Visitor Center in Palm Desert.
Each year hopes are high that the desert comes alive with wildflowers
in bloom. The annual transformation of the Coachella Valley into a colorful canvas
happens in years in which there is rain. The best place to celebrate is at the Coachella Valley Wildflower Festival at the Santa Rosa & San Jacinto Mountains National Monument Visitor Center in Palm Desert.
In addition to wildflower viewing and art, the festival offers the sand
sculpting element, a Kids' Zone, a 5k trail run, mountain biking, and interpretive hikes. There
are raffles, vendors, exhibitors, and live music provided by The Arrangements in the beer and wine garden.
Food and beverages are available for purchase.
Coachella Valley Wildflower Festival offers a slate of activities.
