California isn't the top producer of potatoes--we're ranked #10 among 50 U.S. states. However, we're the top consumer of potatoes in America and at one time Perris was known for its potatoes. An annual event which honors the potato farmers of Perris includes a great classic car show & motorcycle show for all makes and models, fantastic bands, food, and incredible entertainment for all ages!

City of Perris presents the Annual Rods and Rails Extravaganza! This is a family friendly event, offering live entertainment, classic car and motorcycle show at the beautiful 79 acre Orange Empire Railway Museum.

This family oriented event has grown to become one of the City of Perris signature events. The 97-acre Orange Empire Railway museum has shade, great tasting foods for sell, unique antique trains, trolley and cable cars. Event activities include a classic car and motorcycle show, vendor exhibitors and youth activities. See the Old Town Temecula Gun fighters in action and don't be surprised if the train gets held up!
