Location: Historic Downtown Petaluma, CA -- Petaluma's Butter & Eggs Days Celebration is a tradition based on the region's rich agricultural history as one of the premier dairy regions in the country.
The Cutest Little Chick in Town
Contest
Eggs and dairy products turned Petaluma
into one of the most prosperous
communities in the state in the early
1900's and the remembrance of the
region's roots is honored each year with
an annual event drawing over 25,000
attendees.
Activities throughout the day include four blocks of exhibit
space for arts and crafts exhibitors,
food vendors offering a wide variety of
festival foods, sponsor booths,
community and non-profit booths and a
large area to entertain youngsters with inflatables, rides, and hands-on
activities. The public and sponsors are
invited to participate in this great
opportunity, one of the
North Bay's largest events.
Fun events throughout the day include a fire
fighters' cow pie throwing contest,
cutest little chick in town costume contest,
and much more.
Petaluma's Butter & Eggs Days
Celebration pays homage to the
agricultural history as the birthplace
of the incubator, which was the
beginning of Petaluma's "Egg Basket To
The World" title, and as one of the
premier dairy regions in the country.
