Live entertainment, food and tamale vendors, non-profit booths, business booths, a beer garden, pictures with Santa Claus, a Holiday Tree Lighting, and a kids games area. Additionally, a free event shuttle will be available throughout the evening to and from nearby off-site parking locations.

The event also includes an eating contest, holiday crafts fair, kids' activities and live music. The Christmas Parade is held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon in Downtown Oxnard, allowing holiday revelers to make a breakfast meal out of tamales, eat them for lunch, then wrap some up for a traditional dinner at home in the evening.
