Come in your cowfolk attire and step into a Wild West Frontier.  Show off your most authentic and creative western attire for a chance to win fantastic prizes! Are you Team Cowboy or Cow? Or maybe something else? Let your imagination run wild and stand out in the crowd.

Join in an iconic spring day on the slopes when waves take over the mountain!! Enjoy music, pond skimming competition, BBQ, costume contest, and much more. Live  Music by The Shooting Breeze on the Creekside Deck. Pond Skim Competition 12-3pm Best Costume Best Splash Best Skim Best Trick Costume Contest Tiki/Tropical Attire Encouraged.  Limited to the first 100 participants. $10 participation fee per pond skim participant. The ski resort's most popular and exciting event of the year invites guests to dig out your best retro ski-gear, your dancing shoes, and an appetite for fun!  Participants must be on the slopes and ready to go 15 minutes before your time slot. Watch from the sidelines up and down the slopes! The goal is to make your way across our man-made pond on your skis or snowboard without falling, though falling is half the fun!

The 33rd Annual Cushing Crossing springs forth each spring season from the original pond skimming event that started a resort ritual. Every year this family friendly spectacle features a celebrity judging panel and amazing emcees. Look for big spills, plenty of laughter and thrills guests don't want to miss. Event kicks off at 1 p.m. Awards follow at the pond.
