Lawn bowlers know about Redlands. They use "bowls" in games played weekly at Sylvan Park. You can sign up for lessons, drop by and play a game, or compete and really get into the roll of your bowls (balls). Lawnbowling has a fascinating history, much like the Redlands orange groves, but the city isn't unique in this arena.

What Redlands is known for best is another kind of bowl--an outdoor concert venue called Redlands Bowl. Boasting America's oldest continuously running summer music festival presented at no charge, the Redlands Summer Music Series includes great concert entertainment.
