Get lost in the mercado as you roam in and out of vibrant, colorful booths filled with handmade arts and crafts from
70-80 local artisans.
The largest Cinco de Mayo celebration on the West Coast attracts more than 100,000 people annually. In addition to music and entertainment, Lucha libre wrestling matches at the new Lucha Cantina, over 75 authentic food and craft vendor, the iconic Lowrider Lane and an authentic Spanish atmosphere lend to this annual celebration now celebrating its 35th year in 2018.

Fiery Fiesta Get Down in Old Town! The annual celebration is the spiciest weekend of the year. Over 25 bands, traditional ballet folklorico dancers, Lucha Libre performances, equestrian shows, a mercado with over 100 retail and food booths, beer garden and more! Street closures in the entire Historic Old Town area with a transformation of the streets into the largest Cinco de Mayo celebration north of the border.
Fiesta Old Town Cinco de Mayo annual festival is the largest Cinco de Mayo celebration north of the border, filled with mariachis, cervezas, great food, and more! The Fiesta's sizzling entertainment can be enjoyed at the beer and margarita gardens and tequilerias, offering thirst-quenching relief. Don't forget to drink plenty of agua fresco -- like tamarind, jamaica or horchata.
Get into the fiesta spirit; gather the amigos and head to Old Town for the ultimate in Cinco de Mayo fun. Proceeds benefit the Historic Old Town Community Foundation.

Band, San Diego State University Drumline procession, Huichol artisans from Nayarit,
Mexico and activities for all ages and interests.
