Plenty of free parking at the Cal Trans Building on Taylor and Juan Street. We suggest that you take the Trolley, the Old Town Stae Park and Fiesta de Reyes is a short walk down Taylor to Wallace.

Free Family Event and Free Parking

Altars commemorating the people who once lived here in Old Town will be set up in approx. 18 locations.  Candlelight Procession near Whaley House Old Town.

The premier Day of the Dead event in San Diego County, Old Town San Diego's Día de los Muertos, is designed to celebrate the history, culture, and heritage of the region.

Old Town's legacy has a predominance of Mexican, Spanish, and Native American, and as a general melting pot, makes it the best site in San Diego to hold this special and beloved celebration. Remember the Old Town San Diego's Día de los Muertos is all about the history, culture, and heritage of the holiday.
