Winners are given the opportunity to be in the Swallows Day Parade. Some past winners have included potato bugs, dogs, ducks and ponies. Bring your completed application with you  or sign you up on the spot! Children and there Pets in the following five categories: Domestic House Pet, Farm/Barn Animal, Bird, Exotic Pet, Best Team Costume. This year the winners of all 5 categories will walk together in the Swallows Day Parade!

Celebrate San Juan Capistrano's  old west origins at the ball which welcomes colorful characters dressed in Western, Spanish, Mexican or early California attire. Enter the best-dressed contest! Great food and old-fashioned dancing under the stars (weather permitting) to live country-western music.
