Angelo Grova of Michaelangelo Gallery hosted a fashion show in the parking lot outside his gallery to help support a friend studying fashion design. Much to Grova's surprise, more than 400 people showed up in his parking lot that night... and so, FashionART Santa Cruz was born. That was 2006, this is now!

In true Santa Cruz tradition, the annual FashionART Santa Cruz expresses the unrivaled creativity of artistic community. For the 10th year, fashion and art come together in a one night, one-of-a-kind, never to be repeated, spectacular runway show at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium featuring over 15 artists and 8 fashion designers.

Designers from Santa Cruz and the SF Bay Area show off their newest lines while artists surprise and amaze with hand crafted, wearable art creations. Visit the! Immediately following the runway show, the Civic Auditorium's parking lot transforms into FashionART Santa Cruz Trunk Show where the public can browse and purchase pieces from featured collections and various Santa Cruz artisans.
