If you could roll back the clock and enter another era in which people shared a piece of pie on a fine Saturday afternoon, where in California would you go to find such a place? It still exists in Templeton when the annual Old Fashion Street Faire in November treats the public (locals and visitors alike) to a humble, hospitable happening. The historic old Main Street is the place where tourists are amazed and delighted to discover that something so special still exists in California.

• Live Music on the JB Dewer Main Stage
• Cold Beer from Firestone Walker Brewery
• Rotary Chili Cook off, public tasting and judging, and $500 cash prize
• Over 25 vendors including food, olive oil, arts & crafts
• Informational booths
• Classic cars, restored tractors, and antique farm equipment
• Free entry to the Historical Museum and Depot
• Free slice of pie or cake for everyone, from the Historical Museum Society

At the Templeton Founder's Day Celebration and Street Faire each year members of the Historical Society and the Hospitality Crew of the Templeton 4-H Club serve free slices of pie as part of the Old Fashion Pie Social at the Museum (limited supplies). Live musical entertainment and dancers entertain the audience at this annual event.

Main Street is filled with artisans and crafters selling holiday gifts create a special shopping space-- the ideal time and place to shop for someone and something special.
