Annual Mountaineer Days!

FREE ADMISSION A free, two-day family oriented festival featuring

Community Parade

Sunday 1 p.m.
Parade line-up begins at 12 p.m. on Sunday. Judging begins promptly at 12:30 p.m. behind the Wrightwood Elementary School on Apple Ave. between Spruce and Pine streets.

Bed Races

Sunday 2:30 p.m. Down Apple St.

5 person team: 4 runners, 1 rider

Line-up begins at 12:30 p.m. behind the Wrightwood Elementary School on Apple Ave. between Spruce and Pine streets. Applications to enter are on the website, wrightwoodchamber.org

Here's the rules:

  • Size at least 3 x 6 no longer than 6 x 8 including handlebars.
  • Must have a headboard and a footboard.
  • May have push bars on corners. (handles)
  • Must include Mattress. (no pads)
  • All 4 wheels must be on the ground at all times.
  • No motors or mechanical aid, etc.

Entertainment

Experience the spirit of old Wrightwood at the 60th annual Mountaineer Days

A Food Court & Vendor Village includes the popular beer garden for the icy drinks on hot days.

Classic western re-enactments include gunfights, cowboys, Can Can Girls, panning for gold and more!

Old-fashioned games and contests for all ages throughout the 2 day event! Past events have included: Pie Eating Contest, Watermelon Eating Contest, Water Balloon Toss, Mustache and Beard Contest

Summer Craft & Vendor Fair

Saturday & Sunday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Summer Craft & Vendor Fair! Shop from several local artists, crafters & vendors offering unique gifts, home decor, specialty items & more! Held on the same weekend as Mountaineer Days
