North Yuba County is the home of some of the most highly-awarded oils in California, and mid-March is the traditional release of the new vintage of oils. This two-day event gives consumers a chance to meet the growers and millers, to sample the new oils, and to attend classes in olive oil appreciation, pairing and production. There will also be a recipe competition, gourmet & craft vendors, and activities for the children. Local wineries will be offering wine for tasting, as well as for glass and bottle sales. The acclaimed Yuba Harvest Cafe, located at the Resort, will be offering breakfast, lunch and dinner both days, with an emphasis on olive oil pairing.
