The luck of the Irish may be with you in California, thanks to its St. Patrick's Day parades!
With a lively Irish population and many fans of Irish beers & whiskeys, everyone is Irish (all 38 million or so population) on and around March 17. The parades typically are held on the weekend nearest St. Patrick's Day so you never actually know the day they will be held on till announced. However, 9 times out of 10 they take place on the Saturday nearest St. Patrick's Day.

SAN FRANCISCO
The 2014 St Patrick's Day Parade will be held on Saturday, March 15th. Parade
starts at 11:30am at 2nd & Market and finishes at Civic Center Plaza. Look
