Hosted by area churches, over 3,000 people attend. What grew to be a huge pot luck event has now been regulated by a health permit that does not allow for any heated donated food to be served to the public. But no worries, the churches came through! In addition to dinner, volunteers will be serving up entertainment, crafts and even clothing.

Free Thanksgiving Dinner is a tradition five decades in the making. The dinner is prepared by an all-volunteer crew headed by Gary Edwards. The finest organic produce is donated by local businesses, and Rotary Club of Sonoma Valley buys the turkeys. Dinner is free and open to the public. Doors open at 3pm and food is served 'till it's gone!
