From a rink on the sands of Coronado overlooking San Diego's bay and beaches, to Historic Folsom's circular configuration which illuminates the night, bathing guests in rich colors, California offers more than 30 real-ice, holiday rinks (plus several synthetic versions.) The majority are man-made, outdoor rinks constructed just for the winter holidays during November, December and January. Providing great entertainment and exercise, most have popular music piped through sound systems, special days and pricing, skate rentals, cocoa and snacks for sale, and some even host special events, skate clinics and private parties.
