LA Kings Ice at Mammoth Lakes will operate within a newly constructed, multi-use Community Recreation Center (CRC) that is set to open to the public in 2023. Additionally, as part of the agreement, MLT will continue its longstanding relationship as an official partner of the LA Kings.

During holidays the rink will also be open for public skate in the evening most nights of the week.
The Mammoth Ice Rink offers public skating sessions, hockey clinics, pick-up hockey, lessons and special events.

The outdoor facility located in the Town of Mammoth Lakes is owned and operated by the Town of Mammoth Lakes through a partnership with the Mammoth Unified School District and Mono County Office of Education. Subject to weather, the rink is open most the winter, though snowstorms can close it for needed cleaning to operate.
The rink includes public skating sessions, hockey clinics, pick-up hockey, lessons and special events. Amenities include skate sharpening, skate rentals and snack and beverage services.
Kids 4 and under must skate with an adult, and children 10 and under must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Parking: Limited parking makes for challenges. Consider taking the Main Lodge Village/Vons Snowcreek Shuttle (Red Line) or the Mid-Town LIFT (Purple Line) or Old Mammoth LIFT (Gray Line) to the Ice Rink.
If you love the mountain but not the snow, you have a better chance of missing it during the Halloween Trick or Treat in the Village, 4th of July celebration and the Easter Bunny, sometimes with snow
