Many special events and activities are being planned around the Ice Rink to make the Terry Ashe Park and Recreation Center a hub of holiday activity. There's a Annual Tree Lighting, Santa's Arrival, and the annual Lighted Truck Parade, for starters.
Paradise On Ice Opening Celebration invites the public to attend. The Paradise Ice Rink is the only outdoor ice rink between Mt. Shasta and Sacramento. The Park was transformed into a winter wonderland for eight weeks to feature ice skating sessions, skate lessons, music, vendors, concessions, holiday decorations, special events, and parties.
