Hi! I'm Debbie Stock, publisher of SeeCalifornia.com. If a story on this website does not have a by-line on it, I most likely wrote it.   The site is called SeeCalifornia.com because of its focus on California from a visual perspective (see with your eyes.)

With a life-long career as a photographer & journalist (Bachelor of Science in Photojournalism from Kansas University,) I have taken hundreds of thousands of pictures for clients but like most photographers, I retain ownership of the images. SeeCalifornia.com contains some of my photos along with the works of other creators.

I published CaliforniaBeaches.com several decades ago while still actively maintaining a client base, providing corporate photojournalism work. I sold that website in 2010 and was left with a void of online outlets to publish my travel work so  SeeCalifornia.com was created. I previously published international travel websites, as well, and was able to showcase  stories written by many respected travel writers.

I dedicated a decade to California Beaches, creating the most comprehensive travel journal that existed.  It took off in popularity and now has been acquired by investors. SeeCalifornia.com includes beaches, deserts, mountains and anything else that sparks an interest. There are no limits. However, my fan favorites include free summer concerts, Greek festivals, art festivals, cowboys & rodeos, home shows, holidays like Halloween and Christmas and the annual county fairs - all 58 of them.

US TRAVEL

Cleveland, Ohio Reasons to See It. I never knew I'd visit Cleveland but did accept a press invitation. It surprised me to find so many treasures in terms of museums, sports and entertainment. Little did I know that I'd be back there again to experience medical tourism at Cleveland Clinic. That story awaits!

INTERNATIONAL STORIES

Belize: Seein' is Belizen'  in this beautiful country where the native language is English.

Capilano Suspension Bridge in Vancouver, B.C. is a tourist attraction that my Canadian friends thought I should see. The seasoned travel writers, Ursula & Eldred Retief, were great people living life with gusto. Eldred was a well known reporter for a newspaper in the UK.

China: You'll see parts of Beijing; a tea plantation near Hangzhou; silk, canals and pagodas of Suzhou; and some fun stuff showing Chinese citizens living life.
