A beautiful scene caught my eye as we finished a tour and tasting at one of China's best known tea plantations, then headed off to lunch at a restaurant near Hangzhou Botanical Garden.
The garden, which encompasses approx. 600 acres are from Jade Spring Park to Lingyin Temple, is known for its aged plum trees. There are 5,000 mature trees and 50 species to see in this special place. I noticed activity next to one of these lovely trees in blossom—a photo shoot with a woman wearing a wedding gown, a photographer and several assistants setting up the scene.
I couldn't resist grabbing a shot as my group was ushered off to our meal reservations with no time to waste. We were heading for Lingyin Temple and Li Gong Pagoda after lunch.
