Nutcracker Magical Christmas Ballet

(formerly Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker) 

In solidarity with the people of Ukraine, Talmi Entertainment, an independent, American owned production company   announced in June 2022 that the company's flagship production, "Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker," was  renamed "NUTCRACKER! Magic of Christmas Ballet." Talmi Entertainment founder Akiva Talmi, whose family came to America from Odessa, Ukraine, made the decision to re-name and rebrand the annual touring ballet company's production. For decades 70 to 80 Russian-trained classical dancers, recognized as some of the world's best, have flown in annually from the former republic of Russia to perform on the North American tour.

Celebrate this Christmas with the one and only Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker! Featuring brand new over-the-top production and world class  artists - ballerinas Karyna Shatkovskaya from the Ukrainian ballet capital of Kharkiv and Elena Pecheniuk from Dnipro. Premier Danceurs Batur Buklu (Turkey), and Rustem Imangaliyev (Kazakhstan).

The 2024 production debuts new choreography from Viktor Davydiuk, choreographer and Ballet Master, brought to life by Cyr Wheel Artists Alex Oliva and Grzegorz Jastrzebski. Acro Ballet Artists Viktoria Dymovska, Adel Kinzikeev, Rafael Urazov, and Aiya Melis bring extra thrills to the stage in the Dove of Peace adagio and Arabian variations.

 Each year for approx. two decades the Moscow Ballet has entertained audiences in a traveling show hosted in various cities throughout the U.S. and Canada. Averaging 100 Nutcracker Ballet performances during November and December, this coast-to-coast production combines the highest caliber of Russian ballet choreography with high leaps, low lunges and multiple spins and a time honored Christmas story woven with guest artists and casting calls for local children to appear in the performances. The winning combo makes for home town appeal and incredible pride in having the locals appear side-by-side with the world's great talents of the ballet world. There are more than 30 professional dancers in each performance, larger than life puppets, 10 hand-painted backdrops, and hundreds of original Russian costumes.
