Surprises  every year such as beautiful new costumes  bring delight to the annual San Pedro production of The Nutcracker, presented a the Warner Grand Theatre. San Pedro City Ballet donates up to 800 tickets to schools and organizations in the community each year to inspire local youth and provide the magical tradition that everyone can enjoy regardless of income.

San Pedro Ballet's 30 year tradition never comes up short but always exceeds expectations for delighting young and old, while an infusion of grant money and donations are appreciated and  help replace older apparel with spectacular new costumes designed for the show, featuring fabulous new colors, swirling dresses, and gorgeous new tutus. sanpedrocityballet.org

Established in 1994 by nationally recognized dancers and teachers, Cynthia and Patrick David Bradley, San Pedro City Ballet (SPCB)  is a not-for-profit dance company serving greater Los Angeles. The company performs The Nutcracker annually at the Warner Grand Theatre. It also produces original modern works for a variety of venues throughout Southern California. In addition, San Pedro City Ballet, through its outreach programs, holds performance workshops throughout the city of Los Angeles. Thousands of residents see the company perform each year.

Artistic Director  Cynthia Bradley studied  at the school of the Atlanta Ballet Company,  New York City Ballet's School of American Ballet and then joined the Virginia Ballet Company under the direction of Oleg Tupine. She later joined Louisville Ballet Company, then San Diego Ballet Company under the direction of Keith Martin, and North San Diego County Ballet under Victor Moreno's direction. She has staged The Nutcracker,  Coppelia, and Swan Lake and created Shag With a Twist with world-renowned artist Josh Agle. The dance musical  was nominated for eight Lester Horton Awards and had an extended run in Las Vegas.

Artistic Director Patrick Bradley holds a BA in studio art and an MA in Intra-Media Art and Performance from California State University at Domiguez Hills.
