Napa Regional Dance Company presents The Nutcracker. The ambitious dance company has worked hard to raise money for its trips and events. The Nutcracker is one of its annual dance productions.
Celebrate the season with Napa Regional Dance Company 20th anniversary Nutcracker performance! Relive the magic of dancing dolls, mischievous mice, a brave Nutcracker, sword fights, snowflakes, exquisite fairies, and an enormous Christmas tree in this classic holiday favorite.
The Nutcracker - Napa Regional Dance Company's The Nutcracker is a full length classical ballet production that has become a local favorite and a winter tradition for all to enjoy!
Executive Director Wanda Martin McGill received her professional dance education with Dance Theater of Harlem in New York City and studied contemporary dance at The Alvin Ailey School. Returning to the Bay Area, she continued studies with Alonzo King, director of Lines Contemporary Ballet in San Francisco.
Artistic Director Erin Leedom danced as a Principal Dancer in the Oakland Ballet and Ballet West in Salt Lake City. She held full scholarships for American Ballet Theater, Joffrey Ballet, New York and San Francisco Ballet. Erin has performed the lead in Anna Karinina at the Kennedy Center, the role of Juliet at Wolf Trap in Washington D.C, as well as Giselle, Sleeping Beauty and Sugar Plum Fairy. Erin has also performed at Spoleto festivals in Italy and North Carolina, been featured in Dance Magazine, and nominated for an Isadora Duncan Award.
