Parks and Recreation
The City of Banning has eight developed
parks totaling just under 200 acres.
This includes one mini park, four
neighborhood parks, one community park,
one regional park, and one private park.
Public facilities include three picnic
shelter areas; three parks with ball and
soccer fields; tennis courts; basketball
courts; a new skateboard park; a senior
center; and a community center with
gymnasium, kitchen area, and meeting
rooms. There are sports leagues and
on-going classes like yoga and kids
cooking in addition to open gym hours
and senior activities.
Repplier Park, located at 4th and George
Streets, includes an outdoor
amphitheater that is home to the
nonprofit Playhouse Bowl Association
that sponsors a summer concert series.
A new aquatic center is now open. It
features a large recreational pool
complete with two waterslides and
cabanas available for private rental
during open swim times. An adjacent
splash pad for kids is under design.
In addition to these existing
facilities, the City has dedicated
another 150+ acres of land for future
park development.

areas contain features such as sports
fields, picnic and play
areas, parking lots and other facilities

Carpenter-Hamilton Park is a 0.33 acre
park located at the Banning City Hall.
This is the only
mini park in the City. The park includes
a Veteran's memorial, benches and
fountains.
Richard Sanchez Park is approximately 3
acres in size and provides a playground,
picnic
opportunities, pedestrian trail, and
outdoor basketball for the residents in
this area.
