For a city of a mere 13,500, Commerce offers one of the finest little parks systems for families, children, and adults. If you want to get to the parks, you gain access to the free local bus system that will get you and your family there. In addition, Camp Commerce is a city-owned camp in the San Bernardino mountains which is available to residents, and best of all, bus transportation to your camping adventure is absolutely free.

There are four city-owned parks in Commerce and and equal number of community buildings serving youth, adults and seniors through a variety of programs. Most are available to all ages while one serves specifically for youth scouting functions and another is dedicated to the senior audience. Aquatorium is the public swim facility open to all ages in an indoor pool setting that provides swim instruction and great exercise opportunities for those seeking lap swims.
