Heisler Park on Cliff Drive
Laguna Beach has some of the prettiest public parks in California. Other cities that rival Laguna Beach for its ocean view parks include Berkeley, where you will find many vistas in parks throughout that city, as well. Laguna Beach's approx. 74 parks, beach access areas and facilities total more than 63-99 acres. There are approx. 12 public restrooms throughout the City. Recreational use of City parks is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Permits are required for weddings and filming in parks and on beaches.

Crescent Bay Park
Gazebo in Heisler Park
Main Beach Park is one of the City's five ocean front parks that are dispersed
along the City's 4.3 miles of Pacific Ocean coastline. Some disagree whether it
or Heisler Park is the most visited park in Laguna Beach. Regional access is
provided by California State Highways 133, 73 and 1. Major arterials, which
provide access to the site, include North Coast Highway (NCH) to the east and
Laguna Canyon Road (also known as CA-133) to the northeast. City Parks and
Beaches closed 1 to 5 a.m. except Crescent Bay Point Park is closed
between Midnight and 5 a.m. The Dog Park is closed every Wednesday for
maintenance. Public restrooms are open everyday from dawn to dusk.
