How would like to have a picnic at a park overlooking the Pacific Ocean? You can do that in Seal Beach's Dwight D. Eisenhower Park at Ocean and Main Street. On any given day you may see a family sitting on a blanket in the grass, enjoying their basket of goodies. Sometimes people bring their portable tables and chairs to play chess and other games.

While there are benches for looking out at the ocean, there are no picnic tables. However, you will find those in Almond Park, Bluebell Park and Edison Park.

The City of Seal Beach manages and maintains the public parks that include playgrounds (one on the beach at Eisenhower Park), sports fields, basketball courts, picnic facilities, meeting rooms and tennis courts.
