Long Beach's Dog Beach at Granada Beach was officially opened several years ago, thanks to a groundswell of support by locals and public officials.

Shown in the picture is a man with a dog on a leash, people walking, and kite surfers in the distance. You can also see the Pacific Ocean and lifeguard towers.

Rosey's Dog Beach was named for a bulldog owned by Justin Rudd who spent his time along with partner, Ralph, getting the dog beach legalized and sanctioned by the City of Long Beach. You will find the dog beach in Belmont Shore along Ocean Ave. Turn into the parking lot near Belmont Pool and you'll find ample parking at metered spaces. You'll nearly always see people with dogs at the beach so you'll have no trouble finding it.
