Orange County Fair Ice Sculptures

Costa Mesa, California is known as the home of the amazing Orange County Fair. It is one of the top events held annually in Orange County.

The photo shows an icy, refrigerated room with ice sculpture displays. It has been an annual feature of the fair for numerous years. Sometimes the ice is shaped like horses, or sometimes the annual theme takes on a nautical display.

One of the favorite reasons to get in line and see the ice house sculptures is to cool down on warm summer days. As you queue up to see it, there are ponchos available to put on to stay warm inside the very cold room.

Before going to the fair- ocfair.com- you can check line ups to see if the ice sculptures are featured. It may not be the main reason people go to the fair, but for us it's an annual tradition not to be missed.
