Oh give me a beach, sand, sunshine, surf and a pier to see it all from! That sums up Huntington Beach, California. The Huntington Beach Pier anchors the experience and provides countless breezes, fishing adventures, and healthy strolls filled with smiles. Did we mention Ruby's Diner and Surf City Store? There's also Kite Connection to buy a high flyer.
Huntington Beach Pier was first established near the turn of the 20th century. As beach towns sought growth, Huntington Beach wasn't alone in discovering that a pier and other beach attractions and structures would help get people to come and stick around. The HB Pier has been torn down or knocked down through various storms and been rebuilt, each time a little better than that last. This current rendition has survived for 20 years approximately. It is a pleasure pier that millions walk on each year, and it also is the launch point for a fantastic 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza that's absolutely free.
