Long Beach has a public launch ranch for small craft such as jetskis and a wide beach area for kitesurfing and windsurfing. The beach is located in the community of Belmont Shore, the ocean facing beach on the south end of the city, south of downtown Long Beach. The beach in this area is called Granada Beach. It features metered parking and Rosey's Dog Beach where you can take your dog for a frolicking, good time on the beach.
