On the beach beneath Inspiration Point Park are some rocks that contain excellent tidepools worth exploring at low tide. Shown are approx. 25 students examining the the tidepools at low tide. Local schools bring students to study the sea urchins and colorful living creatures that dwell in the rocks. With a decent field guide you can identify many local fish and plants, but you're not allowed to take any.
