San Diego Zoo Aerial Tram offers stunning views of zoo seen from a bird's perspective. The most notable thing when you ride the tram is incredible foliage and nature that fills the zoo. Many exhibits are actually not visible from the ride. They are obscured by stands of tall trees providing shade for animals and zoo attendees. One of the nicest zoos in the U.S. in terms of landscaping, the ample shade makes for an enjoyable day.
