California sunsets: Seal Beach Pier is a special place when the holiday light fixtures are mounted to light poles, gracing this wooden structure that stretches over the Pacific Ocean, allowing millions of visitors to be entertained, get exercise and even dine.
The Seal Beach Pier is located on Ocean Ave. at the end of Main Street in Seal Beach. There is public, pay parking right next to it and some free street parking as space permits.
The best time (in my mind) to see the Seal Beach Pier is right around sunset. But there's never a bad time to visit and take a stroll. Word to the wise: Take jackets as the wind can whip on the pier and feel cool. Some don't mind it but if you are the type of person to feel a chill, better be safe than sit in the car.
