Seal Beach Pier Ruby's

Seal Beach Pier is home to Ruby's diner, a local favorite for ocean view dining in a casual atmosphere served up with old-fashioned malts and hamburgers & fries.
Ruby's is on one of several of the chain restaurant's locations on piers in Southern California (others include Huntington Beach and Newport Beach.) The kite and wind surfers are a popular sight from Seal Beach Pier and Ruby's. Seal Beach has a unique Windsurfing Rigging Area donated by the Seal Beach Sailors in 1996.
Considered one of the best and easiest spots to launch in Southern California (another is on the other side of the jetty at Long Beach peninsula,) the view shown in the photograph is from the beach, though this is a similar sight that surfers see when out in the water.
