California sunsets: place, though not as well known as the famed Sunset Beach Park, Oahu in Hawaii.

With views of Catalina Island to the west and Palos Verdes Peninsula to the north, the landscape is quite beautiful. For great picture taking, head down (or up) on Coast Highway 1 to Orange County. Sunset Beach is south of Seal Beach and north of Newport Beach.

Does Sunset Beach make a great vacation? Yes. The 1 mile sand beach offers pleasurable sunbathing, beachcombing, volleyball, bike rides and strolls. Three affordable hotels are located in Sunset Beach, and you can also rent the water tower house.
