Half Moon Bay is approx. 20 miles south of San Francisco and not far from San Jose-Silicon Valley where over a million people reside. The Half Moon Bay Golf Links Course features stunning vistas above the Pacific Ocean with lush greens in the style of Scottish golf course play.

Golf is available to hotel guests and the public, and the course offers public access paths to the beach that allow visitors to see the lush landscape from safe spots.

Stay and Play packages at Ritz-Carlton Hotel include options to play the Half Moon Bay Golf Links Courses: The American parklands-style The Old Course, which was co-designed by Arnold Palmer and Francis Duane, or the Scottish Links-style Ocean Course designed by Arthur Hills. Both courses are challenging, scenic and finish with dramatic Pacific Ocean Views.

Old Course is an 18 Hole Course designed by Arnold Palmer and Francis Duane. It features 7,003 yards and a 75.3 rating (black tee) with Men's Par 72 and Women's Par 72. The 18th hole is the signature Hole, a Par. Golf carts are mandatory.

Ocean Course is an 18 Hole, Arthur Hills designed course that opened in 1997. Yardage/Rating Black Tees: 6,649 yards 72.2 (black tees), Par 72 Men, and Par 72 Women. Signature holes are the 16th, 17th and 18th that play along the bluffs. Steep drop--don't fall off! The Course is open all year and includes a putting green, practice bunker and chipping area. Walking is permitted on this course but there is no pull-cart rental.
