Attractions:

Catalina Island Zip Lines - 5 rides in one session (approx. 2 hours). Added to the Island's attractions several years ago was this fun ride that offers opportunities to soar above the canyons.

Green Pleasure Pier is the icon of the Island visible from man hillside vantage points. The pier includes restaurants, a visitor center and fishing and boat rentals, as well as the the place to board the glass bottom boat.

Wrigley Memorial is on the hill overlooking and part of the beautiful  Wrigley Botanical Garden.

Events- Avalon has something going on all year-round. From the Jazz Festival to an annual marathon, a film festival to Avalon Casino New Year's Eve Party, check out the Chamber of Commerce excellent website for happenings throughout the year.

Festivals-From signature events such as the From the Jazz Festival, to others that come and go such as the flying fish festival, which went on  hiatus after several seasons, festivals seem more fun when they happen on the Island.
